Our journey will begin in Santa Ana, San Jose where we will pick up the bike and head towards one of the most popular actives in Costa Rica, the “Volcán Poás”, we will embark on a trip filled with amazing views of coffee and strawberry plantations as we approach the exuberant cloud forest that surrounds this magnificent national park.

Then, we will continue to our next stop at “La Paz Waterfall” the River La Paz forms the waterfall after traversing 8 kilometers (5 mi) of volcanic terrain, and then continues through the rainforest of the eastern side of Poás Volcano, total height 37 meters, after a few pictures we will hit the road again until we get to our next stop named “Hidden Treasure” it’s a blue colored river located at Bajos del Toro, to visit this waterfall there is a walking distance of 3 kilometers but is totally worth it.

To finish the first day, we will visit another popular destination “Volcan Arenal” The volcano is located at the center of Arenal Volcano National Park in the northern zone of the country, 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) southwest of the La Fortuna district in San Carlos (canton), Costa Rica  , here we will chill out on one of the many hotsprings pools with a delicious cocktail.

We will start the day riding around the Arenal Volcano and the lagoon, until we get to another volcano named “Volcan Tenorio” here is where we will visit “Rio Celeste” a blue river tinted by the veins of the Tenorio volcano, there is a walking distance of 2.5 km in the middle of the tropical forest we will be able to see the dyers “los tenideros” (in Spanish).

Depends on the season of the year we will be able to visit “El Cañon de Liberia” a technical and very entertained loop, is very interesting how the vegetation turns to be like a desert.

We will continue through Liberia looking for the challenging and very popular off-road shortcut that will take us our last destination of the day Playa Potrero. “The Monkey Trail” it’s a shortcut between Playas del Coco and Flamingo, this curvy mountain pass is famous for eating cars. Its narrow, plunging corridors snake through river crossings and shouldn’t be attempted in the rainy season, or with anything less than four-wheel drive. But those who dare to brave the Monkey Trail are in for one of Costa Rica’s most extreme thrills. The trail – and it really does feel more like a hiking trail than a road – takes you on a bumpy ride down rock faces, through jungles and across streams toward the Pacific coastline. Eventually the trail spits you out in the idyllic beach town of Playa Potrero. Its dark sand cove and bathtub-warm seawater provide the perfect setting to relish the adrenaline rush.

We will finalize the day with an amazing riding trip on the beach from Playa Santa Teresa to Playa Montezuma the place where we will sleep. Montezuma is a quiet village on the Pacific coast where life tends to slow down to the perfect pace for relaxation. The warm Pacific waters are very inviting for a swim or snorkel but just cool enough to keep your core temperature perfect after soaking up the blistering sun. The chill town is surrounded by lush green hills and rivers for the adventurer to seek out the best waterfalls and pools for a refreshing swim.  The Capuchin monkeys are a sight to see, this is an animal lover’s utopia with an array of wildlife.
