It is a visually stunning province with a cool climate and 8 cantons teeming with vast sugar cane fields, extensive coffee plantations and rich farm lands. We will have the joy to ride really fun trails until we get close to the volcano (the park is currently closed due to volcanic activity) but there is plenty to do around, we will spend the night in a hotel that is also a cheese farm, the temperature out night can go down to 5 degrees Celsius depending on the season.

Day 2: If you ever wonder what is like to be in Mars, we think that day 2 of this trip will interest you, even if the Cartago provinces is known for its lush vegetation, we will ride through some areas of old lava flows and ash during our journey.
